Welcome to Alira! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Alira mobile application (the "App"). By downloading, installing, or using Alira, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Description of Service
Alira is a mobile application designed to help you organize photos of your activities and classes. The App provides:
Photo capture and organization by activity or class
Schedule management for activities and classes
Cloud synchronization of user data
User profile management
Authentication services (Email/Password and Apple Sign-In)
3. User Accounts
3.1 Account Creation
You must create an account to use certain features of the App
You must provide accurate, current, and complete information
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account (or have parental consent if under 13)
3.2 Account Security
You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account
3.3 Account Termination
You may delete your account at any time through the App settings or by contacting us
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms
Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy
4. User Content
4.1 Your Content
You retain all rights to the photos and content you create or upload to the App
You grant us a limited license to store, display, and process your content solely to provide the App's services
You are responsible for the content you create, store, and share through the App
4.2 Content Restrictions
You agree NOT to use the App to:
Upload illegal, harmful, or inappropriate content
Violate any intellectual property rights
Harass, abuse, or harm others
Distribute malware or malicious code
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
4.3 Content Backup
**Your activity and class photos are stored only on your device** in the iOS Photos app - we do NOT store them on our servers
**Your profile picture** is the only image stored in the cloud for account purposes
Activity schedules and organization data are stored locally on your device
You are responsible for backing up your device to prevent data loss
We recommend enabling iCloud Photo Library or other backup solutions for your photos
5. Intellectual Property
5.1 App Ownership
Alira, including its design, features, and functionality, is owned by us and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws
These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights to the App
5.2 Trademarks
"Alira" and associated logos are our trademarks
You may not use our trademarks without prior written permission
5.3 Feedback
We welcome your feedback and suggestions
Any feedback you provide may be used by us without obligation or compensation to you
6. Privacy and Data Protection
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree NOT to:
Use the App in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
Warranties of merchantability
Fitness for a particular purpose
Non-infringement
Uninterrupted or error-free operation
9.2 Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:
Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
Loss of data, profits, or revenue
Service interruptions or data loss
Damages resulting from unauthorized access to your account
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO USE THE APP (IF ANY) IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS.

We strive to provide continuous service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access
We may suspend service for maintenance, updates, or unforeseen circumstances
We are not liable for any downtime or service interruptions
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Alira and its developers from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
Your use of the App

Content you upload or share through the App

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the use of the App and supersede any prior agreements.
